City Jewellers of Lichfield has been announced as a finalist for a leading jewellery retail award.
City Jewellers are in the running for Independent Fine Jewellery Retailer of the Year at the Professional Jeweller Awards 2022. To qualify for the award, retailers in this category must be destination jewellery boutique businesses with fewer than five stores, that excel in sales of fine jewellery.
The awards, the fifth to take place, celebrate the best of the UK jewellery retail sector. Organiser Profesional Jeweller says the event mark will honour “the achievements of the UK jewellery industry over the last 12 months across 17 exciting categories”.
The winners will be announced on 5 September during an awards ceremony at a central London venue.
City Jewellers of Lichfield owner Paul Shepherd said: “We are delighted to be named as a finalist for this fantastic award. City Jewellers is a team effort so it pleasing to see our colleagues’ hard work recognised by being placed among the best in our retail sector.”
The finalists in the Professional Jeweller Awards Independent Fine Jewellery Retailer of the Year category are: Daniel Christopher Jewellery, Nightingale, City Jewellers of Lichfield, John Pass, The Alkemistry, Bradley’s Jewellers York and Susannah Lovis Jewellers.
